EARTH, a planet which is walking towards it's destruction ?
You know that earth has a giant magnetic field, created by the friction between the lava and the hard nucleus of earth. The magnetic field has a lot of uses, one of them is protecting the earth from radiation from the sun. Imagine if the magnetic field is gone ..
All earth's plates, right now, are moving slowly to the north pole, because that is the center of the magnetic field.
Scientists then found out, that the magnetic area of the earth is slowly missing. Now, Latin America has no magnetic field, which means that they have less protection from the sun radiation. Those scientists tried to find out why.
They then examined some layers of stones at a mountain in Hawaii which often explodes, so there are a lot of layers of stones from different years since thousands years ago. So, stones have a material structure which they ( scientists ) analyze. The top layers' stones indicates that they were moving towards the North Pole. But surprisingly, the lower layers' stones indicates that they were moving towards the South Pole!
Which lead us to a conclusion
Maybe, hundreds years ago, all plates of earth were moving toward the South Pole as the center of the magnetic field, then there was this thing which we don't know yet that made the center of the magnetic field changed. And now, the change will happen again ?
Or maybe, since thousands years ago, all plates are moving towards North Pole, and now the earth changed it's magnetic field on its own under some circumstances ?
Those scientists made a hypothesis, that all magnetic field all over the world will be gone slowly. When that odd condition reach a point ( maybe when the magnetic field are gone fully ), the center of the magnetic field will also change. South Pole will be the new base.
It is said that on 2012, the sun will have the next biggest explosion ( the first one already happened ), means, if the magnetic field all over the world is gone, we don't have good protectors from that dangerous radiation. You know, maybe this is what the Mayans predicted.
Can we prevent the earth to not change the magnetic field ? No, we can't, some said that "it's what the earth do". Some said that "Earth maybe destructing, humans maybe die. But the earth has it's own way to make this planet back to the early condition"
Maybe, right now, humans can do nothing but to prepare, find out a solution to reduce the bad impacts as good as humans' can.
